Meet Amy

How my journey began

Hello there!

Here is a little peek into who I am and what I am all about! You may have been wondering what exactly a holistic health Practitioner does and how I landed here.

Let me explain . . .

In my early 30s, I began experiencing unusual symptoms that went beyond normal tiredness. I had brain fog, making it hard to focus, as well as arthritis in my hands and feet. Digestive problems and severe bloating became frequent, and my energy levels plummeted. I even noticed accelerated aging. Doctors initially dismissed my concerns as part of aging (despite being only 32), but my symptoms intensified over the years. I hoped desperately for improvement each morning, and despite eating healthy and exercising regularly, my health continued to decline.

After yet another round of tests showing normal results, I decided to take charge of my own health. That was the turning point in my journey. It took me years to understand what was happening and make significant progress, but I never gave up.

In 2019, I realized I needed to change my career if I wanted to make the type of progress in my health I was striving for. Recognizing that many people were in similar situations, I wanted to offer support and guidance. Hearing "everything was normal" despite my symptoms was one of the most frustrating experiences of my life, and I knew I could help others avoid that same frustration.

Through my own healing process, I gained valuable knowledge that could benefit others and help them achieve better results more efficiently. This led me to enroll in an Integrative Nutrition Program, where I earned my certification in 2020.

As a Holistic Health Practitioner, I support clients by focusing on whole-body wellness. This approach involves looking at the interconnectedness of all systems within the body to understand the root cause of health issues and achieve optimal health and happiness. By exploring every aspect of a person's well-being, we can create a comprehensive plan that addresses their unique needs.

I accept HSA and FSA payments, making my services more accessible. Additionally, I have the capability to order functional lab testing, which provides valuable insights into a client's health and helps guide our approach to treatment and wellness strategies.

Cooking has always been both a creative outlet and a beloved hobby for me. I've transformed this passion into a career, working as a Food Stylist, Recipe Developer, and Chef. I've also self-published two cookbooks as personal projects and have hosted numerous dinner parties and taught many cooking classes.

MORE About me…

Exercise boosts my confidence significantly. Setting personal goals and pursuing them at my own pace is a rewarding challenge for me. I've been a runner since my teenage years, and it's still my favorite form of exercise, particularly when the Wisconsin weather is nice and I can run by Lake Michigan.

My ideal day would begin with an early rise (often before dawn), a cup of coffee, and a good workout before my kids wake up. I’d tackle my tasks in the morning when I'm most productive, leaving the afternoon free for quality family time. An evening walk by the lake and dinner on the patio would wrap up the day, followed by watching a thrilling crime drama on Netflix.

Motivation comes from within — and I’m here to help you activate it.
